By using Speaksure, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy.

Information you provide

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address, account details, onboarding answers, speaking goals, selected practice areas, and preferences.

If you contact support, we may collect the information you include in your message, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, app issue descriptions, and support history.

You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information, confidential business information, private third-party information, or content you are not authorized to share.

Speaking drills and microphone data

When you complete a speaking drill, diagnostic, or practice session, Speaksure may process your microphone audio, transcript, spoken answer, selected prompt, recording duration, filler words, pacing, scores, feedback, phrase suggestions, and related coaching insights.

Microphone access is used to record practice drills and provide communication feedback. You can control microphone permission through your device settings.

If you do not allow microphone access, recording-based features may not work.

Speaksure is designed for personal practice. You should not use Speaksure to record other people without permission or in a way that violates applicable laws.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and improve Speaksure, including account access, speech transcription, speaking analysis, scoring, personalized feedback, phrase suggestions, progress tracking, coaching history, and app functionality.

We may use your onboarding answers and practice activity to personalize drills, recommend focus areas, and help you improve clarity, confidence, pacing, conciseness, and filler word control.

We may use technical and usage information to monitor reliability, fix bugs, improve onboarding, understand feature usage, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.

We may use aggregated or anonymized information to understand trends and improve Speaksure without identifying individual users.

AI and transcription processing

Speaksure may use third-party transcription, AI, infrastructure, and analytics providers to process your spoken answers and generate transcripts, feedback, scores, phrase suggestions, and coaching insights.

These providers are permitted to process information only as needed to provide services to Speaksure and support app functionality.

AI-generated feedback may depend on audio quality, transcript accuracy, prompt context, and service availability.

We do not sell your personal speaking data to advertisers.

Account and authentication data

If you create an account or sign in, we may process account identifiers, email address, authentication provider information, login status, and related account metadata.

We use this information to keep your account accessible, sync your progress, manage onboarding status, unlock features, and provide support.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and device secure.

Payments and subscriptions

Speaksure may offer free and paid features. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled through Apple’s App Store in-app purchase system.

We do not store your full payment card details.

We may process subscription status, entitlement status, product identifiers, purchase history, renewal status, and related billing metadata through Apple and subscription infrastructure providers so we can unlock paid features and manage access.

Subscription cancellation, billing, renewal, and refunds are managed through Apple according to your Apple ID settings and Apple’s policies.

Device, usage, and diagnostics

We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, language, region, crash logs, performance data, usage events, and diagnostic information.

This information helps us keep Speaksure reliable, troubleshoot issues, improve features, understand app performance, and prevent abuse.

We may use analytics and crash reporting tools to understand how the app is used and where errors occur.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Speaksure, maintain your account, show your coaching history, support subscriptions, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the service.

Transcripts, scores, feedback, phrase suggestions, and coaching history may remain in your account so you can review your progress over time.

We may retain certain records after account deletion where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, or operational reasons.

Your choices and controls

You can choose not to provide certain information, but some features may not work without it.

You can control microphone permission through your device settings.

You can manage App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support@speaksure.app.

If you request deletion, some information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, billing, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.

We do not sell your personal information or use your personal speaking data to sell advertising.

You should use Speaksure in a safe environment and avoid recording or submitting content that you do not want processed by the app.

Speaksure is not intended for children under 13.
